Morning Report: 08.45 London
• It's a bank holiday in the US today so volumes could be lighter than usual with exaggerated moves throughout the day possible.
• Europe is at the centre of news once again today with major EU talks on a strategy for the European debt crisis. Many issues are up for debate such as whether Portugal will indeed need assistance and how much individual nations should be on the hook for in contributing to any bailout funds.
• With reports of Portuguese officials courting Qatar for direct investment, markets are not sure how today's talks will pan out and if there's one thing markets hate it's indecision.
• The Euro is the main (and only significant) mover so far this morning, down against all other currencies.

Bet Idea
• With EU talks ongoing throughout the day and no specific catalyst behind this morning’s euro weakness, there could be potential for the EUR/USD to pull back.
A good way to play this might be a RISE trade predicting that the EUR/USD will be higher by the end of the day. This could return 100% if successful.
